Our Practice Areas
Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation
Jamie “booked” his Trial Practice class during his third year of law school. This meant that he finished number one among his class peers according to the evaluation of the program instructors. Since that humble beginning, he has handled the defense of hundreds of lawsuits from inception to completion resulting in either dismissal by summary judgment, settlement, or jury trial.
Over his 27-year career, Jamie has practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, construction defect litigation, and personal injury defense, including wrongful death, catastrophic trucking accidents, premises liability, products liability and automobile accidents.
He has tried cases before court-appointed Arbitrators, Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court, New Mexico State District Court, and Federal District Court for the District of New Mexico.
Jamie understands that it is critical to have substantial trial experience. However, he believes it is equally important to maintain close communication with his clients and provide them with prompt reports and evaluations of important factual developments, discovery issues, and potential liability exposure so that the matter might be resolved as quickly and economically as possible.
